Eric Jones is a Distribution Field Supervisor who oversees electric crew for the building, maintenance, and emergency restoration for his districts’ electrical grid. As a safety team sponsor and advocate, he coaches his team members to follow established safety measures to prevent serious injuries. Debbie works in our Energy Procurement Management team that ensures our customers have electricity to meet their needs through the output of SCE-owned generating plants and purchased electricity from independent generators. Debbie has been resilient and uses her personal experience as a role model to help fellow colleagues live with a disability and thrive in their daily life — both at home and at work. Michael is one of our passionate Cybersecurity Managers responsible for leading the Cyber Risk Management team at Southern California Edison (SCE). He also leads various technical projects and engages with business leaders across the company on identifying and implementing risk mitigation plans. Michael and his team oversee cybersecurity risk management at the company and drive implementation of cyber assurance plans while ensuring effective cyber practices enterprise-wide. Camille Garcia-Wong is the Senior Advisor (Chief of Staff) to the Senior Vice President of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) at Southern California Edison. She is responsible for orchestrating key, cross-functional projects directly involving the SVP and the executive team, creating systems and governance processes that improve business effectiveness, ensuring alignment among key stakeholders, and developing communications on behalf of the SVP for internal and external speaking engagements.
As a Mexican American woman, Evelia always dreamed of starting her career at SCE even before she finished college. After doing her research, she knew right away that SCE’s values and commitment to the community aligned with hers. Through her passion and determination, she applied 52 times before she landed her first interview and eventually started in the Transportation Services Department as a Business Analyst. Thirteen years later, Evelia is now Manager for the Transmission Construction & Technical Support Project Management team where she leads a group of Project Managers. Learn more about her story.
David Ford manages relationships with government municipalities, including federal, state, and county governments. These areas consist of Los Angeles, the County Board of Supervisors, and Metro, and he helps develop strategic initiatives to promote awareness of a clean energy future.
Joshua is a Senior Policy Advisor on our Local Public Affairs (LPA) team where he and his team engage local elected officials, community-based organizations, and other civic leaders about climate change and a clean energy future. In his previous position, he was a Government Relations Manager and served as the liaison to a dozen cities across the San Gabriel Valley.
Carolyn is a Senior Advisor on the Policy Engagement team within the Local Public Affairs department at Southern California Edison (SCE). In this role, Carolyn is responsible for leading both internal and external engagements with SCE’s community partners. Specifically, she is responsible for leading the external engagement strategies for environmentally impacted and low income communities, as well as managing relationships with participants of the Clean Energy Access Working Group. Drew has been at Edison for four years. In addition to his role as senior vice president of Strategy and Corporate Development, he is the executive sponsor for the Lighthouse Employee Resource Group whose mission is to engage LGBTQ+ and ally employees in personal and professional growth. The group also seeks to promote inclusion and acceptance of LGBTQ+ employees. Drew firmly believes that it’s up to all of us to create the kind of company we really want to work for. “I think the most important message I can share is that you can be yourself at work and be successful and happy.”
