MEET THE INNOVATIVE WOMEN OF EDISON.
MEET ROSE PEREZ, ADVISOR – SAFETY, SECURITY & BUSINESS RESILIENCY
Rose Perez is an Advisor for the Safety, Security & Business Resiliency Organization. She is responsible for co-leading and implementing a safety predictive model company-wide that flags high-risk work for our field personnel prior to the execution of the work. This provides an opportunity to communicate and mitigate the risk thus decreasing and/or eliminating the potential of a serious injury and/or fatality. She recently celebrated 20 years of service at Southern California Edison which has provided her valuable growth and learning opportunities in various organizations such as Grid Operations, Maintenance, Performance and Reliability and the Safety Organization to name a few. She was the recipient of the prestigious Edison Award in 2019 for her work in Predictive Analytics and attributes this to the support and encouragement she received and continues to receive from family and leadership mentors.
Rose is also passionate about her community. She is the Founder and President of a non-profit organization named Women United Rise. The goal of the nonprofit is to provide valuable resources as well as empower, inspire and mentor young girls in underserved communities to succeed in the fields of STEM. Rose Received her Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Management from the University of La Verne. She and her husband are the proud parents of four children.
