CYBERSECURITY AND PROTECTING THE GRID
As part of SCE’s cybersecurity team, you’ll create innovative programs to protect our key electric infrastructure against threats, energize our transformation, and drive growth. We know that a multi-layered strategy is key to combatting cyber threats. That’s why we focus on four key areas:
Thoughtful grid design
This is the backbone of our grid security and we’re continuously studying, evaluating and prioritizing our resources and infrastructure to keep the grid safe and reliable so we can mitigate security risks.
A multi-layered cybersecurity strategy
We’re combining the latest cybersecurity technology with technology tools and processes, plus a robust cybersecurity awareness program for our employees and supplemental workers.
Shared intelligence
We’re strengthening our protective defenses through partnerships and close collaboration of shared intelligence across local, state and federal government, and with other utilities.
Frequent drills
We’re measuring our readiness for a potential attack with cyber-preparedness drills, and FEMA-designed Incident Response Plan scenarios to test our internal processes and systems.
